- Solution 2: BG4 2230 has very few PCBs that can be polished. You can open a 22MM hole at the back of the casing. The SSD will expose 1MM. If this 1MM is worn off, some camera covers can be covered. If there is no impact, no need to polish the SSD.

Attention:
1. The SSD used for retrofitting needs to be prepared by yourself.
2. Kraft thermal silica K-5204 or K-5205 for fixing and heat conduction needs to be prepared by yourself.
3. A card reader must be used for the pre-test. If your camera does not have a cover, and it may not be pulled out after inserting it into the camera. After the test is completed, you can put on the thermal silica gel, seal the cover, and the cover cannot be removed after the cover is sealed.
4. Due to the cutting of the rear part, be careful to contact with the shell to form a short circuit, and isolate it with heat-resistant tape.
5. The length of the M.2 NVMe SSD 2230 exceeds the length of the CFe card. It is necessary to polish a part of the PCB board during DIY. There are some risks, certain hands-on ability are needed.
6. For Canon R5 shoots 8K, only recommend (for Kioxia) BG4.
