From a local private collection, I am pleased to offer a large tri-footed bowl made by Sascha Brastoff
Likely early 1960s
Dark green inner body featuring a pattern of handpainted abstract leaves with gold details
Fully signed SASCHA B
Impressive in its size
Measures 9 3/4" across and 2 1/2" tall at sides
Some typical pottery glaze crazing lines visible on the underside but none on the inside
Some minor glaze rubbing on interior
No other damage - no chips, cracks, hairlines, stains or repairs or restoration
No wear or fading to hand painted pattern
Please ignore all white spots on photos caused by camera flash
No reserve
Returns accepted only if item not as described. Please remember that my items are vintage and not store-bought-new and some minor wear from age and use should be expected. I do try and describe my items accurately. Please examine all photos carefully as they are part of the description.
