Vintage Sascha Brastoff peacock with maroon, black, green dish; signed.

Description

The dish features an almost Chinese lantern shaped bowler dish. The center is an elegant, fancy peacock with a maroon headdress and plumage with its head turned back. Majestick with black muted backdrop and blue/green highlights. Some gold trim and holes in the ceramic for the gold circle center for the feather ornamentation. Good condition; no chips, cracks or crazing. Fairly clean piece. Sold as I found it condition. Signed on bowl Sascha B. The back says Sascha Brastoff with a rooster logo, California. Measures 7" X 5.5" X 2 1/8". Opening is 4.75" X 5.25".
